To Those Who Nurture: A Mother’s Day Blessing

To the women of St. Francis, and to every soul who has ever offered the shelter of care to another:

Today, we celebrate you.

We see the quiet strength of the biological mothers, the chosen mothers, and the spiritual mothers among us. We honor the grandmothers, the aunties, the mentors, and the friends who have stepped into the gap to nurture, protect, and guide.

Whether you are currently raising a child, caring for an elder, or simply being a "Beacon of Hope" to a neighbor in need, your love is the invisible thread that holds our community together. Your care is a living reflection of the "Oasis of Peace" we strive to be as a parish.

On this Mother’s Day, may you feel the same warmth you so freely give to others. May you be rested, may you be celebrated, and may you know that your labor of love is never unseen by the One who created us all.
