In Loving Memory of Mr. John O. Akeredolu

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. John Olabanji Akeredolu, a beloved member of the St. Francis Anglican Church family, who departed this life on April 25, 2025, at the age of 70.

Mr. Akeredolu, affectionately known to many as “Banji,” was a familiar and faithful presence at St. Francis. His calm demeanor, warm greetings, and devotion to the faith were a blessing to all who knew him. He was not only a regular in our congregation, but also a quiet encourager and a symbol of strength within our church community.

As we mourn this loss, we lift up his family and loved ones in prayer, asking that the God of all comfort surround them with peace and strength during this tender time (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

Funeral arrangements are currently being planned, and the St. Francis family will be kept informed as details are confirmed.

We encourage all to continue to remember the Akeredolu family in your prayers. May Banji’s soul rest in eternal peace, and may the light of Christ shine upon him forever.
