Following our Sunday service on February 15, 2026, members of the parish family gathered for the Annual Meeting of Parishioners, an important moment in the life of St. Francis as we reflected on the past year and looked prayerfully toward the future.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review ministry reports, celebrate God’s faithfulness in our community, and engage in thoughtful discussion about the direction of our parish. Parishioners participated respectfully and constructively, demonstrating once again the spirit of unity and shared responsibility that continues to shape St. Francis.

A significant portion of the meeting included the election of parish leadership. We give thanks to all who allowed their names to stand for service and leadership, and we warmly welcome those newly elected to their roles. Their willingness to serve reflects a deep commitment to the mission and ministry of our church, and we pray for wisdom, discernment, and grace as they undertake these responsibilities.

We also extend heartfelt gratitude to those who have completed their terms of office. Their dedication, time, and faithful stewardship have strengthened our parish in countless ways, often behind the scenes and with great generosity of spirit.

After the formal proceedings concluded, the community gathered for fellowship over a wonderful turkey potpie lunch. The meal provided a relaxed and joyful setting where conversations continued, friendships deepened, and the sense of belonging that defines St. Francis was beautifully evident. Special thanks go to everyone who prepared, served, and organized the lunch. Your hospitality turned the afternoon into a true celebration of community life.

As we move forward together, we do so with gratitude for all that God has done among us and with renewed hope for what lies ahead. May the decisions made, the leaders elected, and the fellowship shared continue to bear fruit in the life of our parish and in our witness to the wider community.
