While winter made an unexpected return outside, warmth and laughter filled the hall at St. Francis as 20 women gathered for a delightful Ladies’ Tea this past Saturday (April 25, 2026).
Snow may have dusted the day, but it did little to keep spirits low. Instead, it seemed to draw everyone closer together—creating the perfect setting for an afternoon of fellowship, storytelling, and shared joy.
This gathering carried a beautifully personal touch. Conversations flowed around the treasures we collect through life—each item holding a story, a memory, a piece of who we are. From delicate china teacups and well-loved mugs, to thimbles, bracelets, cross-stitch artwork, and teaspoons, the room became a living tapestry of experiences. Each story shared opened a window into someone else’s journey, deepening connections and strengthening the bonds within our parish family.
And of course, no tea would be complete without the treats! Tables were adorned with plates of delicious goodies, adding sweetness to an already rich afternoon of conversation and laughter.
More than anything, the Ladies’ Tea was a reminder that community is built in these simple, meaningful moments—gathering together, listening to one another, and finding joy in shared experiences.
Even on a snowy day, hearts were full, friendships were deepened, and the spirit of fellowship at St. Francis shone brightly.
A truly wonderful afternoon—warm, welcoming, and full of grace.
