There’s something quietly beautiful happening each Sunday in our Sunday School—a gentle, joyful shaping of young hearts in faith, wonder, and discovery.
On Sunday, March 29, 2026, under the caring guidance of our Sunday School Coordinator, Margo Durocher, the children gathered for a lively and meaningful lesson on Palm Sunday. They explored the story of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and even learned about the charming legend of the cross said to appear on the backs of donkeys—a small but memorable way of connecting story, symbol, and imagination.
But the lesson didn’t stop at storytelling.
With eager hands and bright smiles, the children began working on their Easter flower pots—simple yet powerful symbols of new life, new growth, and the hope we celebrate in Easter. These pots are more than just a craft; they are a living reminder of resurrection. On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the children will fill them with soil and plant seeds, taking them home to nurture and watch them grow.
And perhaps that is the most beautiful part of all.
As these young ones water their plants and wait patiently for new life to emerge, they are also learning something deeper—about care, about faith, and about the quiet miracles God works over time.
It was, in Margo’s words, “tons of fun.” But it was also something more: a glimpse of how faith takes root, grows, and blossoms in the lives of our children.
We give thanks for Margo and all who serve in our Sunday School ministry. Through their dedication, seeds of faith are being planted—seeds that, by God’s grace, will grow for years to come.
God bless our children, and the beautiful journey of faith unfolding among them.
